Impressionism attempt

before

after
This is my attempt at Impressionism, by using Autumn picture that I got from school, I photoshoped it into an impressionist painting.
for the first step I change the hue and saturation, then I put accented edges and sprayed strokes from the filter gallery, and as a result and impressionist painting version of the picture. there are many aspects in the picture that can be categorized as impressionist painting, such as the short strokes, the vibrant colours, and the last one is how the picture is not that focus but we can still see the colour and refer the object as it the same as the real one.

Impressionism!

Claude Monet, Impression, soleil levant (Impression, Sunrise), 1872, oil on canvas
Impressionism is a 19th Century art movement that comes from France, first in painting later in music. Impressionist paintings consists of the work that being produced between about 1867 and 1886 by a group of artists who shared a set of related approaches and techniques.
Impressionist paintings could be recognized by the way the paintings were made with a lot of details and realism, such as the lights and reflections that's being depicted in the painting. They used short "broken" brush strokes of mixed and pure unmixed colour, not smoothly blended or shaded, as was customary, in order to achieve the effect of intense colour vibration.
Claudio Monet's painting, Impression, Sunrise, is where the term "Impressionism" is derived from. Claudio Monet along with Pierre-Auguste Renoir, Alfred Sisley, and Frédéric Bazille, who had studied under Charles Gleyre are among the group that started the Impressionism in France.
I personally like this style of painting, I like how the paintings can depict the colours so realistically, and how they can give some kind of feeling to the audience, just by looking at it. it's like the painting were alive and could move by itself.

"Miraishi Tashi The Future Forseeing"

"Miraishi Tashi The Future Forseeing" by Yoshitaka Amano

Miraishi Tashi The Future Forseeing by Yoshitaka Amano is one of the picture that I like the most. Speaking about Yoshitaka Amano, he is an artist from Japan, a famous artist if I may say. Many of his works can be seen in Final Fantasy game series, as a concept designer and character designer.

The title of this picture, Miraishi Tashi The Future Forseeing, probably tells about how this little girl can see the future. I said probably because I cannot find any information regarding this picture in internet. But I may say that the girl certainly have a deep looks on her, so deep that she might be able to see the future.

The thing that I like the most about his works is that he applied a lot of mystery and fantasy touch, this also can be seen in this picture where we can feel the sense of mystery and fantasy in the girl. also the way that he use dark colours to represent the character also add up the sense of mystery and fantasy.

In my deepest opinion, one of the aspect that make this picture is really-really interesting is, the simplicity of the object (a girl sitting) and how that simple object can be so mysterious and have a certain aura on it.
